Our Approach
At Awen Health & Wellness, we believe effective care starts with understanding the whole person—not just a diagnosis or individual symptom. Mental health can be influenced by many factors, including physical health, relationships, stress, sleep, medications, nutrition, and life experiences. Our goal is to consider those factors together when helping each patient determine the next best step in care.
We offer a range of services designed to support patients through different stages of their mental health and wellness journey, including psychiatric medication management, therapy, ADHD and mental health evaluations, Spravato® treatment, TMS therapy with EXOMIND, medical cannabis certification evaluations, and supportive wellness services.
Our therapy services may include individual, couples, family, child and adolescent therapy, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and traditional talk therapy. Our psychiatric providers offer evaluations and ongoing medication management, while additional treatment options such as Spravato® and TMS may be considered for appropriate patients.
By offering multiple services within one practice, our team is able to better coordinate care when needed and help patients move between services without feeling like they are starting over each time. Treatment recommendations are based on each patient’s history, goals, preferences, and individual needs.
Awen Health & Wellness is located in Louisville, Kentucky and offers both in-office and telehealth appointments, depending on the service and provider. We work with many major insurance plans, with participation and coverage varying by provider and service.
